Email and News Setting
Please select software :
  - Outlook Express 4 or Above  
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP) on using Netvigator Domain
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP) on using Non-Netvigator Domain
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP) on using NETVIGATOR Roaming Service
- Anti Spam Policy

Using Netvigator Domain
1. Open "Outlook Express'"
2. Click "Tools"> "Account"
 
3. Click the Tab - "Mail"
 
4. Click on the Account: "pop.netvigator.com"> "Properties"
 
5. Click "Servers" and Change Outgoing Mail (SMTP) to: "mail.netvigator.com" and leave all other settings unchanged.
 
6. Click "OK" and "Close"
 

Using Non-Netvigator Domain
1.

Open "Outlook Express", select "Tools" > "Account"
 
2. Select "Mail" > "Add" > "Mail"
 
3. Enter "Display name" (eg: John Smith), click "Next"
 
4. Enter your "E-mail address" (eg: sender_name@yahxxx.com), click "Next"
 
5. In the" Incoming mail ((Pop3, IMAP or HTTP) server" field, enter pop.yahxxx.com and in the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" field, enter smtp.netvigator.com, click "Next"
 
6. Enter the "Account name" (e.g: sender_name@yahxxx.com ) and "Password", click "Next"
 
7. Click "Finish"
 
8.

Highlight the "Account" (e.g. pop.yahxx.com), then click "Properties"
 
9. Select "Servers"
 
10. Enable the ¡§My server requires authentication¡¨ in the section of Outgoing Mail Server, then click Settings¡K

 
11. Enable "Log on using".and enter "Account name" with Netvigator domain (e.g. user_name@netvigator.com or user_name@hkstar.com). Then, enter the "Password" and click OK.
 
12. Click "OK"
 
13. Click "Close" to finish the whole setting
 
Using NETVIGATOR Roaming Service
1.

Open "Outlook Express", select "Tools" > "Account"
 
2. Click the Tab - "Mail", click on the Account: "pop.netvigator.com" > "Properties"
 
3. Click "Servers"
 
4. In the "Incoming mail (POP3) server"field, enter pop.netvigator.com and in the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server"field, enter smtp.netvigator.com. Enable the "My server requires authentication" in the section of Outgoing Mail Server, then click Settings¡K
 
5. Enable "Log on using". and enter "Account name" with Netvigator domain (e.g. user_name@netvigator.com or user_name@hkstar.com). Then, enter the "Password" and click OK.
 
6. Click "OK"
 
7. Click "Close" to finish the whole setting
